"The Ascendance of Harley Quinn" -Book & Q&A Discussion In-Person
A panel discussion on the book, “The Ascendance of Harley Quinn: Essays on DC’s Enigmatic Villain,” will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 21 in the University Library’s Croslin Room. The discussion will include editors Shelley E. Barba and Joy M. Perrin and contributor Ian Barba, all of Texas Tech University Libraries, and contributor Derek Moreland of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center’s Printing Center.
Refreshments, book sale and signing will follow the panel discussion.
The five-part book focuses on the eccentric female sidekick to The Joker, Harley Quinn, who was first introduced to fans in 1992. It specifically focuses on the broad spectrum of aspects of Harley Quinn and various iterations of the character.
