  2. Interpret common contract language and apply interpretation to publishing goals.
  3. Locate resources and investigate individual contracts.

Abstract:

 There is a good chance you are transferring your copyright when you publish research. While it may seem like a requirement of publishing, there are many ways to retain copyright and be mindful in exercising rights as an author.
