Systematic Reviews: Path to Publishing, part 1, Overview Workshop- Online - Erin Burns, Jenni Jacob, Brian Quinn Online

Virtual- entirely webbased live interaction, no face to face

1. Participants will learn what a systematic review is 2. Participants will learn to recognize the importance of using rigorous methods to conduct a systematic review

This is the first session in our series for those who want to learn how to publish a systematic review. There will be 6 sessions in the series. Systematic reviews are scholarly syntheses of the evidence on a clearly presented topic using critical methods to identify, define and assess research on the topic. A systematic review extracts and interprets data from published studies on the topic, then analyzes, describes, and summarizes interpretations into a refined conclusion.
