R for Beginners Session 5: Using the package tidyr for wrangling Workshop- Hybrid- Jingjing Wu, Cynthia Henry, Jenni Jacobs In-Person / Online

- Be able to reshape a dataset between its long and wide formats. - Be able to export a data frame to a csv file

This is an introductory serial of workshops on R for participants with no prior knowledge of R or no programming experience. The entire serial takes around 9 hours in 6 sessions. Each session takes one hour for essential content and another half an hour for questions or problem-solving. This serial covers using RStudio projects for reproducible computation, basic R syntax, importing/exporting CSV data, the structure of data frames, as well as data wrangling and plotting.
