R for Beginners Session 6: Using the package ggplot2 for data visualization- HYBRID - Jingjing Wu, Cynthia Henry, Jenni Jacobs In-Person / Online
Hybrid- both face to face and online webbased interaction
-Be able to create common plots layer by layer using the package ggplot2
-Be able to explore a dataset thorugh visualizaiton
-Be able to customerize/modify the aesthetics of exisiting plots or to impprve the visualizaiton
This is an introductory serial of workshops on R for participants with no prior knowlege of R or no programming experience. The entire serial takes around 9 hours in 6 session. Each sesision takes one hour for essential content and another half an hour for questions or prombel solving. This serial coveers using RStudio projects for reproduciable computatios, basic R syntax, importing/exporting CSV data, the structure of data frames, as well as data wrangling and plotting.
