Hybrid- both face to face and online web based interaction
Understand the advantages and limitations of AI tools and how to get the most out of them to improve your writing skills. Learn how to use AI tools like ChatGPT to conduct research and generate text.. Correctly cite AI tools and know which tools can be used for each stage of the writing process.
Part 3 of 5-part AI Literacy at Lunchtime series. While ChatGPT, Bing and Bard have become more popular, this series will focus on what they can offer instructors and researchers, while engaging with these tools with a critical lens. We may discuss several other lesser-known AI generators like Forefront, Perplexity. We will also discuss tools such as Grammarly.ai and others like it. These tools may have a lot to offer researchers but are not without their ethical usage issues. This will be a discussion based forum. We will have some slides and/or demo a few tools or guides, but we also want to hear from you, the participants, about these topics. Come with your lunch, your questions, and your experiences
