1-Participants will learn about strengths and weaknesses of AI tools for generating images, photos and art 2-Understand issues related to copyright, attribution, and authenticity in AI-generated images and art 3-Explore how AI-generated art is used in various industries, such as academic research, advertising, entertainment, and design

This workshop is Part 6 of 9 in the A.I. Empowerment Series. Artificial intelligence tools have the ability to generate high-quality, professional-looking images, photos and art. Learn about how AI images and art are being used by researchers in academia, by business, and by designers and artists. Discover how these materials are created and manipulated and how to detect deceptive images that have been created by AI that are sometimes referred to as “deep fakes.” Understand the intellectual property issues associated with the creation, attribution, and dissemination of AI images.
