R for Beginners Session 3: Using the package dplyr & tidyr for wrangling
- Be able to use the package dplyr to manipulate and analyze data
- Be able to link functions with the “pipe” operator.
- Be able to reshape a dataset between its long and wide formats.
This is an introductory serial of workshops on R for participants with no prior knowledge of R or no programming experience. The entire serial takes around 8 hours in 4 sessions. This serial covers using RStudio projects for reproducible computation, basic R syntax, importing/exporting research data, the structure of data frames, as well as data wrangling and plotting.
