Texas Tech University Libraries provides access to Web of Science, ScienceDirect and Scopus databases, excellent multidisciplinary citation databases. In the STEM fields, continuing research is dependent on previous work therefore it is important to learn techniques that will help you perform better research. Take advantage of these comprehensive science indexes to learn how to search and use search results to broaden your understanding about your research topics. Learn how to use indexed item metadata to retrieve results relevant to your research. Evaluate fields of study, researchers, or research topics using database analytics tools. Get access to the full-text article by searching library databases or requesting items through inter-library loan. These databases are also beginning to roll out generative AI features. Join us to learn more.
