AI Literacy: AI and the Hiring Process Workshop - Online Only - Erin Burns, Jenni Jacobs, Joshua Salmans, Shelby Hebert Online
Online only- entirely web based live interaction, no face to face
1. Participants will learn about using generative AI models when creating their resumes and cover letters 2. About the history of algorithms in company hiring practices 3. Resources for help for Texas Tech students, including information from the Career Center
Many companies have been using algorithms to speed their hiring processes. Can you or should you use generative AI to help write your cover letters, resumes, etc? Is there a way to game an algorithm so that your resume is at the top of the pile? Come learn with us as we invite the TTU Career Center's Jay Killough to take us through Quinnica, the AI that they use for resumes and mock interviews.
Registration for workshops closes two days before the event. You are welcome to email the presenters to get added to their list for the link.
