AI Competencies Part 1: AI Awareness: Keeping Up With AI Workshop- Online Only- Brian Quinn, Cory Johnson Online

Participants will: 1. Learn multiple strategies for keeping up with the field of artificial intelligence 2. Understand the variety of media offerings available for A.I. information 3. Know which A.I. information sources provide credible, reliable knowledge about A.I.

This is the first of seven workshops in the A.I. Competencies Workshop Series, which features seven free online workshops addressing four foundational areas of artificial intelligence competence: Knowledge & Understanding, Analysis & Evaluation, Use & Application, and Ethical Considerations. In this first workshop, we will focus on a fundamental issue related to AI information. The amount of information about A.I. has exploded and the field is changing so rapidly that keeping informed about the latest developments can be challenging. Knowing what sources of quality information are available in a variety of media is key to staying on top of the latest developments. This workshop provides an opportunity to compare and evaluate some of the best sources for keeping up with A.I. to effectively manage the A.I. information glut and stay informed.

Registration for workshops closes two days before the event. You are welcome to email the presenters to get added to their list for the link.
