The emergence of artificial intelligence has created a number of issues related to originality, fabrication, authorship and ownership. Who has rights to what is often murky, and copyright law and the legal system are playing catch up in an attempt to address these issues. This workshop will explore the role that AI plays in content creation and how it affects copyright protection. It will clarify the concept of transformative work and its relation to copyright. Understand the role of licensing in granting permissions for AI-generated content and how you can apply it to your work.
