AI Literacy at Lunchtime: AI in Search Engines and Databases Workshop - Online Only - Erin Burns, Joshua Salmans Online
Participants will: 1. learn which databases are developing generative AI 2. The differences in functions between a traditional search engine query and an AI one 3. How to use these generative AI models in the databases
Join our AI Literacy Club! This is session 3 of 5. Many of the databases that you may be using (Web of Science, JSTOR, Scopus) are developing generative AI features. This workshop will discuss how search engines work, what adding generative AI has done to searching, and the interesting ways in which RAGs (retrieval-augmented generation) is being applied in the databases.
Registration for workshops closes two days before the event. You are welcome to email the presenters to get added to their list for the link.
