Do Black Lives Really Matter? Black History Month Presentation In-Person
Join the Libraries for the Discussion: "Do Black Lives Really Matter? Championing Social Activism and Litigation for Civil Rights." This presentation is in honor of Black History Month and our featured speaker is Dr. Jasmine Parker of TTU's College of Education.
There is also an exhibit in the Libraries Croslin Room and art work in Libraries 307/309 from the Roots Historical Musuem through the month of February.
Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served and parking is available in R11 (band lot). RSVP to len.markham@ttu.edu.
Event aligns with the TTU Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion's 2019 theme, "Embracing our Pasts, Conquering our Futures."
