1. Identify and define basic elements in the detailed record of a journal article
2. Create a research journal documenting search strategy and process
3. Upload 1-2 citations to Endnote
Abstract:
This workshop will introduce participants with ambitions to enroll in a graduate program to the basics of research journaling, a process that expert researchers use to document their search strategies and sources in their research process. Participants will be able to identify specific contexts of how a journal article’s identifying information is organized, create a research journal based on that information, and store their citation(s) on a citation manager for future use.
