Research Footprints: Documenting your search strategies for the Future: Online Distance - Jake Syma and Joshua Salmans

Registration will open four weeks prior to the presentation date.

Online Registration will close 2 days prior to allow for email to be sent.

2-3 Learning Outcomes :

1. Identify and define basic elements in the detailed record of a journal article

2. Create a research journal documenting search strategy and process

3. Upload 1-2 citations to Endnote

This workshop will introduce participants with ambitions to enroll in a graduate program to the basics of research journaling, a process that expert researchers use to document their search strategies and sources in their research process. Participants will be able to identify specific contexts of how a journal article’s identifying information is organized, create a research journal based on that information, and store their citation(s) on a citation manager for future use.
