Hispanic Heritage Month Lecture In-Person
Please join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month for a lecture by Christopher Carmona. his presentation will be:
"Resilience in a Time of Terror: Writing El Rinche and the Tell of the Unrecorded History of La Matanza 1910-1920".
Carmona will discuss the history of the Rio Grande Valley of Texas during the time know as the Matanza, and will discuss writing about intergenerational trauma passed through stories.
Lecture will be in the Libraries South Croslin Room, 3:30 - 5:00 pm on October 2, 2019. Refreshments will be provided.
