Abstract:

First in a series of three webinars focusing on Open Education Resources.  This first webinar introduces participants to Open Education Resources - how they are defined and their impact on students.  You've got questions:  What is being done on campuses across the country? Are these reviewed textbooks? What should I use OERs in my class when I already have a textbook?  What does this cost me?  I don't use a textbook so why should I consider OERs?  We've got answers!  Participants will learn resources currently available through the University Libraries and what makes OER different.
