Using R for Data Visualization Workshop - Jingjing Wu ONLINE In-Person
This will be offered online only. Registration will close two days before the workshop so that an invite can be sent by email but you are welcome to email the presenter(s) to be added. jingjing.wu@ttu.edu

1. Learn basic knowledge about R installation, data import, and R Markdown language for authoring R code
2. Learn how to create and format scatter plots, box plots, bar plots, histogram, line chart, etc. using base R graph and the package ggplot2
This workshop will focus on some data visualization techniques using base R and the package ggplot2. The attendees will learn the grammar of graphics in R, and how to develop and format some common plots, such as scatter plots, bar charts, line charts, histograms, and more. It will also cover the installation of R, RStudio, and R packages, work directory setup, dataset import, and R Markdown for those who do not have any experience with R.
