R for Beginners- Session 2: Data in R Workshop - Jingjing Wu, Cynthia Henry ONLINE In-Person
-Be able to load external data from a .csv file into R (R Data frame)
- Be able to summarize and subset a data frame
-Be able to tell the differences between a factor and a character vector and perform the conversion
This is an introductory serial of workshops on R for participants with no prior knowledge of R or no programming experience. The entire serial takes around 8 hours in 4 sessions and covers using RStudio projects for reproducible computation, basic R syntax, importing/ exporting CSV data, the structure of data frames, handling factors, as well as data wrangling, analysis, and plotting.
