R for Beginners - Session 3: Data wrangling and analysis Workshop- Jingjing Wu, Cynthia Henry ONLINE In-Person

- Be able to use the package dplyr to manipulate and analyze data subset, add new columns, group data by certain variables, apply summary statistics, etc.

- Be able to link functions with the "pipe" operator.

- Be able to reshape a dataset between its long and wide formats.

This is an introductory serial of workshops on R for participants with no prior knowledge of R or no programming experience. The entire serial takes around 8 hours in 4 sessions and covers using RStudio projects for reproducible computation, basic R syntax, importing/ exporting CSV data, the structure of data frames, handling factors, as well as data wrangling, analysis, and plotting.
