Getting the Most Out of JSTOR Workshop - Amy Dye-Reeves In-Person / Online

Hybrid- both face to face and online webbased interaction

 

 

1) Each participant will utlize the techniques, skills, and modern tools necessary to extract information from the JSTOR database. 2) Each participant will retrieve, analyze, and interpret the professional literature for all levels of researchers. 3) Each participant will examine historical literature to develop conclusions that support the central thesis of a research paper.

The workshop entitled "Getting the Most Out Of JSTOR" will allow participants to examine technical literature to develop conclusions within the historical research process. Each participant will show how to utilize filters, a text analyzer, and more advanced features to locate pertinent historical information. The demonstration will follow with a discussion about undergoing current research projects to make the most of the JSTOR experience.
