Locating Qualitative, Quantitative, and Mixed Method Study of College of Education Workshop -Online Only - Amy Dye-Reeves Online

1) Each participant will identify, formulate and solve problems using the appropriate information and approaches to locating qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research. 2) Each participant will utilize the techniques, skills, and modern tools necessary for practicing database retrieval. 3) Each participant will evaluate evidence to determine and implement best practices.

The workshop will introduce participants to locating qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method studies within the Texas Tech University Libraries databases. Participants will be introduced to the best practices within the EBSCO products to further their knowledge of the precision of extracting needed data for research projects. In addition, each participant will have the chance to learn more about the need to locate qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods, which is also required within the literature review phase of educational projects.
