How do you pick the best citation management software for you? There are many factors to consider with varying software systems. If you are an undergraduate student, you might be looking for the fastest and easiest option - something with a short learning curve, which lets you grab citations and produce bibliographies. Suppose your are a graduate student or a faculty member, in that case you might have different considerations: the software needs to work well with the databases you use frequently, it must organize and filter many citations, and it should produce a bibliography in the primary style used in your discipline. This workshop will present a basic overview of three tools that are freely available to TTU students and employees: Endnote, Mendeley, and Zotero. This workshop will help you compare features and decide which citation management system works best for you and your research.
