Systematic Reviews: Path to Publishing Workshop - Session 1 Overview- Online Only - Erin Burns, Jenni Jacobs, Innocent Awasom, Brian Quinn Online

Virtual- entirely webbased live interaction, no face to face

1. Participants will learn what a systematic review is 2. Participants will learn to recognize the importance of using rigorous methods to conduct a systematic review

This is the first session in our support series for those who want to learn how to publish a systematic review. There will be 6 sessions in the series. Systematic reviews are scholarly syntheses of the evidence on a clearly presented topic using critical methods to identify, define and assess research on the topic. A systematic review extracts and interprets data from published studies on the topic, then analyzes, describes, and summarizes interpretations into a refined conclusion.

NOTES: There are 6 sessions of this, but each will have a different topic. Session dates are Sept 13, Sept 27, Oct 11, Oct 25, Nov 8 and Nov 29
